Dr. Gary Dumais is a seasoned Business Psychologist and Human Resource consultant with expertise in psychological assessment for employee selection, leadership development, succession planning, and executive coaching.
Assessment for Employee Selection & Development: An expert assessor with academic roots in clinical and neuropsychological evaluation, Gary has assessed people for selection and development at all organizational levels, spanning individual contributors to executives. Adept at integrating assessment information from validated instruments, inventories, and interview methods, Gary has written thousands of cogent feedback reports that provide clients with insightful understanding of strengths, opportunities for development, and recommendations for professional growth.
Executive Coaching: As an executive coach, Gary has over fifteen years of experience providing assessment and 360-degree survey feedback to individual contributors, supervisors, managers, directors, and executives along with structured development planning and ongoing coaching to facilitate goal achievement and accelerate career growth.
Leadership Development Program Design and Facilitation: Gary has implemented leadership development, succession planning, and training programs for Energy, Engineering, Agrochemical, and other companies committed to honing employees’ leadership skills and preparing them for roles of greater scope and responsibility.
Education and Affiliations: Gary earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, and his Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Health and Human Services from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). In addition, Gary is a longstanding member of the Philadelphia Society of People and Strategy (PSPS) and an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
